Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Launch Trailer Was Something We All Asked For

Looking good, looking good.

Deus Ex Mankind Divided

We are five days away from the launch of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the fourth entry in Eidos Montreal’s long running cyberpunk stealth RPG series, and the first one since 2011’s excellent reboot of the franchise with Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

The trailer sets up the story, which looks to have an ominous tone (as if that wasn’t clear already from the title of the game, as well as from the marketing for the game so far), and is set against some rather excellent music.

You can check out the trailer below, which also shows us some more scenes rendered in engine. I’m not sure what direction the story will go necessarily, especially given the existence of the original Deus Ex– but I’m still excited to play this game, especially because it looks to be an expansion of everything that made Human Revolution so great. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on August 23.
