Deus Ex Mankind Divided

The upcoming Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will let you chat it up with your enemies as you try to blast each other to atomized mist, gameplay director Patrick Fortier confirmed. This is just one more way that the developer team is trying to accommodate all play styles possible with the new game.

“For Human Revolution, because of the way we designed it, [bosses] always died in the cutscenes,” narrative director Mary DeMarle added, in an interview the developer team had with OXM. “You had no choice. But we rectified that in the Missing Link DLC, and we’ve rectified it in this game.”

This is all in addition to other concessions to multiple play styles that are being made in the game- for instance, Eidos Montreal have confirmed that they will be bringing back the stealth option for boss battles.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2016.
