Developers Made A Platformer Within 52 Hours Using Media Molecule’s Dreams

This speaks of the potential of Media Molecule's Dreams.

Media Molecule’s Dreams is all about bringing out the creativity of the players. In fact, one of the long- term goals with the game is for players to sell their creations on the PSN store. During GDC, Media Molecule used Dreams to create an entire game called Comic Sands.

As you can see in the video, although the game itself is simple, it speaks of the great potential for creation that Dreams brings. It’s certainly impressive that everything from the character’s movements to the visual effects were all created using only what was already available to them within Dreams. This would certainly allow many creative gamers to bring forward their ideas through games they will probably make using Dreams.

As of now, we have no information regarding a specific release date, but Media Molecule’s Dreams is currently set to release this year exclusively for the PS4.
