Developers Talk Up The Next Generation Xbox Live

Everything from the new social features to the Power of the Cloud™.

Posted By | On 19th, Nov. 2013

Microsoft’s Xbox One is just days away from release, and with it will launch the third iteration of Xbox Live, the world’s premier online console gaming service. So far, Xbox Live has been a revolution with both its iterations, and understandably, all eyes are on Microsoft to see how they justify the premium priced service this generation, especially since PSN now offers the same functionality for a cheaper price (or even for free).

The video above shows us the developers chatting the new service up- everything from the dedicated servers to the full fledged multiplayer modes that it now offers, to the new social features, to yes, the mythical, fabled power of the cloud that will make all your multiplayer games so much better (apparently).

Xbox Live 3.0 launches with the Xbox One on November 22 in thirteen territories- that’s later this week, folks. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for all the latest and greatest pertaining to the Xbox One launch.
