Devil May Cry HD Collection

Devil May Cry is back in a big way, with Capcom considering it a major brand after the successful release of Devil May Cry 5 earlier in the year. It’s return has also seen the rather bizarre porting of previous games to the Switch, with games that were once released all together in a single pack cut up in single game releases. It’s a strange thing, but here we are. The first two games are out on Switch, with the third coming soon.

As announced via the official Devil May Cry Twitter, the third game in the series will come near the beginning of the year. The game serves as a prequel to the series as a younger Dante must face off against his brother. DMC3 was a return to form of the series after the second game was a major disappointment. The Special Edition added several tweaks and a new playable character to the base game.

Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition will release on the Switch February 20th 2020. The first two games are available now.
