Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition Will be Digital Only In The West

Bummer.

Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition

Any fan of action games worth his or her salt is awaiting the update to Capcom’s Devil May Cry 4, as it promises to iron out the kinks that held back the game experience from greatness. However, if you were hoping to add a fancy Devil May Cry 4 SE disc to your collection, forget it- Capcom has confirmed that the game will be releasing only digitally in the west.

On the other hand, Japan will be getting a limited physical run, which includes a 64-page companion book, a soundtrack disc, and extra covers. In terms of digital rewards you’ll also net two new costumes (hopefully these come standard overseas) and 300,000 red orbs.

I call bias and discrimination.

Just kidding.

We don’t actually have a release date for the west announced for the game yet (though we know it launches this summer), so we shouldn’t get too ahead of ourselves anyway.

The game will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
