Devil May Cry 5 Crosses 8 Million Units Sold

As of March 31, the action game has sold 8.1 million units sold worldwide, with an additional 300,000 units sold between January and March.

Capcom has provided updated sales figures for a number of its games on its Platinum Titles page, and though the likes of Resident Evil and Monster Hunter are obviously still maintain impressive momentum with sales, other Capcom games are also exhibiting impressively long legs on that front.

For instance, Devil May Cry 5 has now sold over 8 million units worldwide. To be more precise, as of March 31, the action title has sold 8.1 million units worldwide. Over the course of the January-March quarter, it sold an additional 300,000 units, so it has continued to enjoy solid moment with sales, five years on from launch. It’s also the highest selling game in the franchise by far, as it has been for some time now. Meanwhile, the Devil May Cry franchise has collectively sold over 31 million units to date.
