An announcement might be coming in soon.

Capcom’s beloved action franchise received its long-overdue and highly anticipated revival this year with Devil May Cry 5, and it was one worth waiting for. Devil May Cry 5 successfully brought the series back kicking and screaming, and showed everyone just what we’d all been missing out on all these years. And clearly, it’s been successful for Capcom as well.

If, however, you aren’t one of the people who’s bought and played the game so far, and are looking to take a dive, there might be some good news for you soon- if you’re on Xbox One, anyway. On the Xbox One store, a listing for Devil May Cry 5 being available on Game Pass was recently spotted (via Reddit). An announcement for this obviously hasn’t been made, so it’s likely – if this is true – that one will be made soon (perhaps at Gamescom?), and that this went live erroneously and prematurely. If it does happen, it’d be a huge get for Game Pass, seeing as it’s an excellent game that released quite recently.

Devil May Cry 5 is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can read our review of the action title through here.
