Blizzard’s beloved action RPG looter is getting a remaster and it’s just around the corner. Vicarious Visions has been in charge of Diablo 2: Resurrected and it’s finally ready to release next week. A new cinematic trailer has been released which offers a look at cutscenes beyond the first two Acts. Obviously spoilers follow so check it out at your own risk.

Diablo 2: Resurrected retains the seven classes that were available in the base game and its expansion, Lord of Destruction. It sees the player venturing across Sanctuary in pursuit of the Dark Wanderer and the three Prime Evils with Diablo being the primest. Acquiring stronger loot and unlocking different abilities will be key to ultimately ending him.

The remaster offers improved visuals and 4K resolution support along with a variety of quality of life features. These include auto gold pick-up, a Shared Stash tab, better character sheets and so on. It’s out on September 23rd for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch.
