Diablo 3 Auction House Goes Offline on March 18th

New changes detailed in recently released video.

Diablo 3 may have been one of the better action RPGs of all time, but it was overshadowed by the horrible Auction House, which allowed users the ability to sell and trade items using real world money without much issue. From server loads to connection problems, Blizzard Entertainment pretty much abandoned its always-online approach for the console versions.

It’s going to do the same for the PC version soon enough, with the Auction House going offline on March 18th. Blizzard released a new video explaining these changes and talks about how it became a “double-edged sword”. Till then, the Auction House will be supported. It will also release the 2.0.2 patch outside of North America.

Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls will be out on March 25th PC and Mac, with a PlayStation 4 release due in the coming months. Will you be picking it up, especially with the Auction House closing one week before? Let us know below.
