Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls

Blizzard Entertainment is readying the next patch for Diablo 3 and while it won’t sport a new zone, it will add some new Torment difficulty levels. Players will be able to go from Torment X to Torment XI-XIII.

There are rewards for doing so of course including updated Legendaries and Set pieces. New loot – like the Scarbringer for Monks, Gazing Demise for Witch Doctors and so on – and Legendary powers courtesy of Kanai’s Cube will also be on offer for players. Other options include the ability to hide the UI and pylon icons on the minimap for Rifts.

Rifts will also be seeing a change. Complete any kind of Rift, regardless of difficulty, and you’ll gain a Greater Rift Key. Higher difficulties have the chance to drop two additional keys and there will be a 100 percent drop rate on Infernal Machines from Torment IV onwards. Crank up the difficulty and there will be a chance for two Infernal Machines.

There’s no word yet on when patch 2.4.2 is out for PC and consoles but stay tuned for more information. Or just hop aboard the Public Test Realm on PC and go wild.
