While most players are likely enjoying their time with the early access release of Diablo 4 from the game’s deluxe versions, some PS5 players are reporting that they are unable to play the game because of an error telling them they have an “invalid licence”.
Blizzard has taken to Twitter through the official Diablo account to acknowledge the issue, and has stated that the team is currently looking into the error and will provide updates once they have more information.
Understandably, quite a few players are upset at not being able to play a game when they’ve paid extra money for early access. Players unable to play the game have taken to Twitter to report the issues. PC players, on the other hand, seem to be playing the game quite fine with a relatively smooth early access.
Diablo 4‘s early access is currently available to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S players who purchased either the Deluxe or Ultimate edition of the game. Those who bought the standard edition will have to wait until June 6 to play.
