Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn (15)

Square Enix’s latest MMORPG, their relaunch of the much maligned Final Fantasy XIV online, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, has been met with incredible response from both players and critics. So much so that because of incredible, ‘unprecedented’ demand for the title, Square Enix literally had to stop selling the game digitally starting August 28 in PAL territories. Sales for the game have now resumed, they announced today.

The title, which is a great MMORPG and will definitely have its own place in its rather crowded marketplace, was launched to stupendous player response, leading to jammed servers, as way more people ended up buying the game than Square had anticipated. The game’s server issues were later on addressed, but sales remained frozen until the issues were fixed entirely. Hopefully now, the server capacity has been upgraded enough to where new players can join in and enjoy this beautiful MMO.

Stay tuned for GamingBolt’s review of the title.
