Gears of War 2- Maria Euthanized
Gears of War 2 shows us in a very weird way how war in any form is tragic and there is no winning. A scene from Gears of War 2 where Dom is forced to euthanize his wife Maria is quite sad and upsetting. Dom had no choice but to kill Maria, as he found her emaciated, tortured, and broken in every way. This is a decision that has no right answer, but when you find the one you love broken and has no memory or sanity, the only sane thing to do would be to put her out of her suffering.
