Arkane’s stealth action game, Dishonored, released in 2012 was a bit of a breath of fresh air for the gaming industry when it released, offering relentless difficulty and true player agency in how things turned out in the game. Since then, people have often speculated that both, publisher Bethesda, and developer Arkane, may be interested in developing Dishonored into a full fledged franchise, and now, it does appear that a sequel to the first game is all set to be unveiled at Gamescom this year.

Video game site NowGamer and VG247 are reporting that Dishonored 2 may be called Darkness of Tyvia, may be headed for Xbox One, PS4, and PC for November 2015, and may feature the player playing as the original Empress Emily Kaldwin. They are suggesting that the game’s announcement is imminent at Gamescom.

Whether there is any veracity at all to these rumors remains to be seen. Stay tuned to GamingBolt, as we’ll follow this story closely.
