Arkane Studios continues to hammer away on Dishonored 2, releasing a third beta update for PC on Steam. Update 1.3 is about “general performance and optimization improvements” with options to disable camera motion blur. FPS limit is now 60 FPS by default as well (switching off V-Sync will see it drop to 30 FPS, which is a known issue and will likely be fixed later).

Other fixes include for a bug where Adaptive Resolution was set to Manual by mistake; a bug which caused resolution, monitor, windowed mode and triple buffering to not revert properly when selecting the “No” option; a bug where V-Sync settings didn’t match monitor refresh rates when higher than 60 Hz; and much more. Bugs “impacting mouse movement speed” have also been fixed as have issues running the game on 5:4 or 4:3 aspect ratio monitors.

This is a beta update though so you’ll need to head into the Properties for Dishonored 2 on Steam, find the Betas tab and choose “BetaPatch” from the menu to download it. What are your thoughts on all the fixes? Let us know in the comments below.
