Arkane Studios may not have impressed us with their remaster of the original Dishonored but Dishonored 2 is still looking pretty good and it’s thankfully exclusive to current gen platforms. Apparently we missed quite a few secrets in the E3 2015 debut trailer as co-creative Harvey Smith discussed some of the newer things we’ll discover in the sequel.
The Clockwork Mansion seen in the trailer will actually be part of a mission in-game and the enemy is a former student of Anton Sokolov from the first game. The clockwork soldiers are intriguing because they have vision modules behind and in front while working on whale oil. Expect to tussle with them continuously – they’re owned by the aristocracy, who also have enemies made of wood with bird-like heads.
Emily Kaldwin will be a playable character this time around and as discussed before, she has her own abilities. Players can still take control of Corvo Attano though.
Dishonored 2 releases in 2016 for Xbox One, PC and PS4.
