Bethesda Softworks, publisher for Arkane Studios’ Dishonored, has tweeted a new screenshot for the game’s upcoming DLC. There isn’t much by way of details, but the setting should be extremely familiar to those who played the first game.

Dishonored DLC

In the beginning of Dishonored, you take on the role of the Queen’s faithful bodyguard Corvo who is returning from outside of Dunwall with news on the plague. Of course, it doesn’t take long for things to bad as mysterious assassin’s show up and use their powers to beat you and kill the Queen before kidnapping her daughter Emily.

It’s only later that you learn about the assassins being hired by the Queen’s own ally Daud to kill her and usurp her power. So essentially, the DLC will have you taking on the role of said assassins.

We’ll see how this plays out as and when the DLC is announced for release.
