Last year we got the unveiling of Disintegration, a new title from the mind of Halo‘s co-creator. The game is a unique blend of first person shooting and RTS elements. Up until this point, we’ve really only seen the multiplayer of the game, due to having a beta at the beginning of the year (you can read our impressions of it through here). Now it’s time to get a look at the game’s campaign in a near 10 minute long video.

We’ve heard some glowing things about the single player, being compared to an intense rollercoaster and all that. Now, thanks to VGC, we get our first look at it in a near 10 minute-long video. We don’t get much on what the storytelling will be like, outside a brief cinematic that ends the footage. If you’ve seen the multiplayer footage, this will probably be pretty familiar to you, as the main character takes down enemy mechs, utilizing the RTS mechanics of controlling others on the field. Check it out below.

Disintegration will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this year.
