Disney Epic Mickey Rebrushed

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, a remake of Junction Point Studios’ 2010 Wii platformer, launches on September 24th, per GOG. Coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch, it sees Mickey Mouse venturing through the Wasteland of long-lost Disney icons.

Wielding a brush, Mickey takes it upon himself to save Wasteland and restore color to its surroundings. Throughout the adventure, players will discover secrets and platform through levels based on famous films. You’ll even encounter Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney’s first original creation and the predecessor to Mickey Mouse. Depending on the player’s decisions, they can even unlock multiple endings.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is developed by Purple Lamp and published by THQ Nordic. Alongside revamped visuals, it also promises improvements to the controls and new traversal abilities like dash, ground pound and sprint. Stay tuned for more details before its launch, and check out our review of the original release.
