When it comes to Final Fantasy news, everyone is focused on either the remake of Final Fantasy 7 or the remaster of Final Fantasy 8. There is another ongoing Final Fantasy, though, in the crossover fighter Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. The game’s roster is a celebration of the long-running RPG series, and it’s about to get even bigger.
The game encompasses characters from all the mainline FF titles, as well as some of the spinoffs. Almost all the major protagonists and antagonists are present, but there’s still a lot to draw from- and the director says he wants to add someone new every three months. Square Enix has announced that they will host a live broadcast on June 25th to reveal the newest member. Who could it be? We’ll just have to tune in to see.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC. The reveal will take place June 25th at 20:00 JST, and you can see it at the game’s official YouTube or Niconico when those links go live.
