Larian Studios continues to update Divinity: Original Sin 2, its critically acclaimed RPG that sold 660,000 digital units within its first month of launch. Its most recent patch was fairly big and promised to fix numerous issues. However, it also introduced a number of problems. Save games with mods would suffer crashes, “The Pawn” talent would not trigger within the first turn of combat at times and whatnot.
A new hotfix has thus been issued which addresses these issues. It also fixes a crash relating to loading a game when you have items without rune stats. The looping sound in one’s inventory for certain scenarios has also been fixed.
Even pickpocketing has seen a fix which may ensure that you don’t game the system early on. And yes, Tarquin should genuinely be fixed. Time will tell if this sticks though. Larian Studios still has things planned for Divinity: Original Sin 2 in the coming months so it’s worth watching out for if you’re still playing. Check below for the full hotfix notes.
