Larian Studios’ Divinity: Original Sin 2 hasn’t even been out a week and it’s doing much better than the previous game with roughly 500,000 units sold thus far. Though bugs and other glitches have emerged – especially in the first act, which can be annoying when said act has been in Early Access for a year – Larian has been quick with the updates.

Case in point, the latest patch to arrive brings a ton of fixes and changes. Along with crash fixes, the patch also corrects the Journal from being updated wrongly for certain quests. The developer did note that for quests like Call to Arms and the Imprisoned Elf, current saves will still have the wrong entry. Thankfully, this won’t impact later sequences in the game.

Other changes include a nerf to Reactive Armor which players used in all kinds of OP ways. Along with the cost now being 2 AP and cooldown changing to 6 turns, the overall damage it outputs has been reduced. Check out some of the patch notes below with the full list available here.

  • Updated several quest log entries
  • Several inventory settings (filters and sorting) will now be saved
