For all the fans clamouring about it, Capcom has finally show-cased their reboot of Vergil for the upcoming DmC at GamesCom 2012.
As the story goes, while Dante was adopted into an orphanage, Vergil made it into a rich, educated and well to do home. Described as “A highly intelligent and gifted individual, he wrote a security encryption program that eventually made him a multi-millionaire before he even finished school”, he leads the anti-demon Order, that researches the monsters to eventually defeat them.
The verdict? Definitely not the bad-ass we expected, but at least he has his katana.
