Skylanders Superchargers

Vicarious Visions will be bringing its latest iteration of Skylanders to the Wii U with Superchargers and will incorporate vehicles into its vehicle. However, tying the Nintendo Amiibo figures into the game, it was announced that Donkey Kong and Bowser would appear with their own vehicles in Skylanders Superchargers.

Each character will have its own abilities and attacks, and the vehicles are very distinct from anything seen before. One example is Magma Bowser which uses his flame breath in a steady stream to annihilate enemies. The Amiibo designs themselves are pretty cool if you’re into collecting them.

The most important theme though is that of Nintendo characters appearing in a third party title. That’s pretty big news considering the control that Nintendo usually exhibits for its franchises.
