The first DLC for Klei Entertainment’s Don’t Starve, titled Reign of Giants, will be out on PS4 on July 22nd in North America and July 23rd in Europe Europe. It will retail for $4.99 on PSN and of course, PS Plus members will receive a 10 percent discount.
Reign of Giants adds a bunch of new content to go with the expanded world. Aside from the obvious inclusion of Giants, there will be two new playable characters: Wigfriend, a method actress whose last role as an ancient Valkyrie; and Webber, a boy living inside a spider.
Other new additions include year-long starvation, new biomes filled with new creatures and items to gather; an extra save slot and to reiterate, yes there are giants. It remains to be seen what purpose they’ll play but we’d guess they aren’t your friends.
