Dota 2 Patch 7.06 Replaces All Respawn Talents

Yes, all 42 of them (along with other things).

The International 7 is nearly here and Valve has changed up a rather strong tactic in Dota 2 these days with respawn talents.

When patch 7.00 added talents, that allows players to specialize in different upgrades for their hero, it allowed heroes with respawn reduction times to rise up. In a game that’s mostly about team-fighting, having your hero back into the fray much quicker can be advantageous, especially if you trade kills.

Now with patch 7.06, all 42 respawn talents have been replaced. No, not re-balanced; just outright replaced. The Warlock at level 20 will now summon a Golem upon deeath. Magnus has +500 Skewer Range at level 25. Lycan has +12 Feral HP Regen at level 15. Crystal Maiden has +50 Freezing Field Damage at level 20. And so on and so forth. You can read the voluminous changes (along with adjustments to items and such) here.

Overall, this means buffs, both major and minor, for all heroes but some will benefit more than others. What are your thoughts on the changes? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information on how this upheaval pans out.
