Dragon Age 3 Inquisition Is Slower Paced Than Dragon Age 2

Slower than DA2 yet still "fast, fun and beautiful."

BioWare have been working on Dragon Age: Inquisition for some time now, and have revealed as little information as they possible can, so obviously, anything related to the game that comes our way seems like a big deal. We now have tweets from the team working on Dragon Age 3 that claim that the gameplay in the upcoming action RPG will be slower paced than what we saw in Dragon Age II.

Vince Waldon, a senior director at BioWare, tweeted saying that he had played DA3 recently and felt that the game was “fast, fun and beautiful.”

When he was asked by a fan what exactly he meant by “fast”, game director Mike Laidlaw interjected, saying, “Vince, this is one of those questions you answer CAREFULLY, because the game’s pace is down from DA2.”

“Exactly, we don’t want to give the wrong impression!” said Aaryn Flynn.

Dragon Age 3 is supposed to be a much more tactically and strategically centered game than DA2 was, so it makes sense that its gameplay is slower paced.

Stay tuned for more updates.
