Dragon Ball FighterZ Switch Open Beta Announced for August 9-11

You get access to 23 fighters, as well as four game modes.

If you’re excited to get the superlative Dragon Ball FighterZ – which launched on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC earlier this year – on the Switch, then there’s some good news for you. The open beta for the Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ will be held next weekend, Bandai Namco and Arc Systems Works announced at EVO today, from August 9 to August 11.

The beta seems to be really generous, too- you can access 23 characters, and you get access to the Practice Battle Tutorial, Arena Match, Ring Match, and Ring Party Match modes. It’s a pretty good thing this is a timed beta, because otherwise, the beta could act as a replacement for the full game for no price at all!

While the beta itself goes live at 9pm PT (running through to 1.59pm PT on August 11), you can pre-load the client ahead of time starting today, because it is available on the Nintendo eShop right now. Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The Switch version launches September 28.
