Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO

After a hiatus that has lasted more than a decade and a half, the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series is set to return with Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, and as its launch in October draws closer, Bandai Namco is continuing to reveal more new details about the 3D fighter.

In an update detailing the game’s UI, customization mechanics, and more, the company has also offered details on its controls. Specifically, Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO will offer players with options for two control styles, with a standard option being joined by Classic controls, which will be much more similar to the controls of the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi games.

Selecting the classic controls will also impact clash sequences and their QTEs. As per Bandai Namco, however, the new Standard control scheme is going to be the default one, and is the recommended way to play the game.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO will launch for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on October 11.
