Dragon Quest 11 Japanese Release Date Announcement Coming On April 11

The long wait for Dragon Quest 11 may almost be over- or at least the long wait to finding out when the long wait for Dragon Quest 11 may be over may be over. Today, Square Enix announced that the the Japanese release date of Dragon Quest XI will be disclosed on April 11th, for the Nintendo 3DS and PS4 versions of the game- it is unknown if the release date of the Nintendo Switch version will also be confirmed during this livestream.

It is also important to note that for now, any announcement will be restricted to Japan, only- this means that the release date that is announced isn’t necessarily relevant to us. Still, in the last few years, new Dragon Quest releases have followed in the west 6-8 months after their release in Japan- so we will have a rough idea, if nothing else.

Dragon Quest 11 will launch on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo 3DS.
