Trailers for the two vastly different PS4 and Nintendo 3DS versions of Dragon Quest 11 are all well and good- but how about some gameplay footage to actually see what the differences will be like in action? That’s exactly what this new video, recorded from Square Enix’s Dragon Quest 11 event livestream, show us.

Thanks to this video, we get to see the differences in gameplay between the PS4 and 3DS versions- ultimately, however, you’ll be getting the same turn based classic JRPG goodness that you are used to- just with a different twist on each platform.

You can check out the videos below. Dragon Quest 11 will launch on Nintendo 3DS and PS4 in Japan for July 29, with no western release having been confirmed so far. A Nintendo Switch version is known to be in the works too, but that’s as far as Square Enix is willing to discuss that one. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.
