Yuji Horii, creator of the much-loved RPG franchise ‘Dragon Quest’, was recently interview by Nintendo Power about the upcoming tenth installment of Square-Enix’s famous franchise. He confirmed that it will be on the Wii as “some users will want to play Dragon Quest on the big screen,” and that he is also taking into consideration the plea from fans that the game follow a similar vein to Dragon Quest VIII. In regards to the title’s progress he simply commented: “All we can say is that development is going well and we’re on the last parts of the game. We can’t really share much else at this point, but by the end of this year we should be able to announce something regarding it.”

Thanks to Go Nintendo for the info.
