Dredge, a fishing game with elements of Lovecraftian horror, is now available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PC and PS5. You start with a fishing boat and explore an archipelago called The Marrows for catches. However, it becomes apparent that something sinister lies beneath that manifests after dark.

By selling fish, you unlock better equipment for sailing further and exploring the trenches. There are more than 125 different catches, various collectibles and quests to complete. The real hook (pun intended) is at night when strange fog rolls in and terrifying creatures come out to play.

How you’ll survive while retaining your sanity forms the basis of Dredge’s campaign. Over time, you’ll gain otherworldly abilities that provide an edge, though they may further strain your grip on reality.

Thus far, Dredge has received a positive response from Steam users with a 97 percent “Positive” rating. You can also read our official review, where we scored it a 9.
