And here's to millions more.

Evolution Studios’ DriveClub had one of the most troubled and disastrous launches in recent memory- the game launched with a plethora of network issues and missing functionality, causing it to simply not function as advertised, as well as the embarrassing delay of the PS+ version for nearly a year- and this was after the game itself had been delayed for very nearly a year to begin with.

But Evolution Studios stuck to their guns, and continued to work on the game, patching back promised features, giving massive free content updates, and also (finally) releasing the PS+ version. All of that work seems to have paid off- DriveClub is now at 2 million units sold worldwide, making it one of the highest selling games on the PS4, and also one of the most successful new IP launches of the generation, ahead of heavy hitters like Bloodborne and Splatoon.

As an eventual convert to the DriveClub cause, I can say I am very happy. Hopefully Evolution continues with its good work on the game.
