DriveClub Receiving New Location With Japan

A recent event video shows the location incoming.

Evolution Studios hasn’t been having a very good year with DriveClub launching in October, after a year’s delay, and facing numerous issues since then. The PS4 exclusive was meant to push for driving on a social level but has been beset by connection woes and server bugs. Nearly a month later and these issues still haven’t been fully resolved.

At the very least, it seems that there will be new content arriving soon for the game. At a recent event, game director Paul Rustchynsky was seen talking about DriveClub with a demonstration of the game running in the background. If you had to the 15:00 mark, you’ll see that Japan has been added as a location. Again, there’s no estimate on when this could actually arrive but at the very least, new content is being created.

Will that make up for the continued absence of the PlayStation Plus Edition of DriveClub? Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
