Dying Light Gets Free Weekend On Steam

The free weekend also coincides with a sale for the game.

Dying Light

Unfortunately, it’s looking like we aren’t going to get our grubby mitts on the highly ambitious Dying Light 2 anytime soon. The title has been delayed with no date or time frame given for when to expect it. As much of a bummer as that is, it does give you time to go back to the original. And if you haven’t tried it out just yet, you can this weekend for free.

The first Dying Light will get its first ever free weekend on PC via Steam. It’s live now and will run until February 23rd 10am PT. The free weekend is only available to PC users, but there is a sale on the game, up to 67% off, which is going to be on consoles as well. So, you may not get it free on PS4 and Xbox One, but the entry fee is going to be pretty low all things considered.

Dying Light is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a month of content from returning modes to various events (you can read more about that through here).  If you haven’t tried it out, this weekend will be a good time to see what the fuss is about.
