Are you tough enough to survive in the dying light?

Following the confirmation of the European physical release date for Dying Light, Techland have released a Launch Trailer for their upcoming zombie disaster game. The game is set in a “city devastated by a mysterious infection” an undercover operative named Kyle Crance is dispatched to the now off-limits quarantine zone tasked with a mission to find an important Military Officer of high station that has gone missing.

The trailer looks at the games key features and gives a broad look at the games impressively large open world that is almost solely inhabited by the living dead. As a practitioner of Parkour, it makes me quite happy to see a game like this putting a focus in player movements through an urban environment in a new and interesting way.

With all that being said, the game is actually shaping up to look thoroughly impressive, boasting hordes of zombies as well as an awesome visual style. If you weren’t looking forward to it already, now’s the time to get hyped.

If you’re interested in seeing more about the games “Be The Zombie” gameplay mode, then you can check out this video of the developers playing a PvP match.
