Dying Light’s Second Free DLC Is Headlined By A Magic Battleaxe

Tongue planter firmly in cheek now?

Dying Light is wonderfully self aware and absurd. The first person parkour platforming zombie action game by Techland has managed to find itself success and a vocal community of lovers thanks to not only its unique take on the zombie concept, but also because it’s just a game that doesn’t take itself too seriously (and doesn’t become too dour as a result).

It’s also because it’s a game that has had remarkable post launch support- take, for instance, the free DLC packs with a host of new weapons that have been promised for the game over the course of the next year- at this point, Dying Light is over two years old. Techland’s continued support for the game is praiseworthy.

The second of those promised free DLC packs is available to download now on all platforms, and it is headline by a magic battleaxe. Because when you are facing zombies, having magic on your side cannot hurt. Dying Light is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
