Dynasty Warriors 8 Announced for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3

Get ready to see history as it could've been.

Console generations come and go but there will always be a new Dynasty Warriors game. Tecmo Koei have introduced the latest title in the series with Dynasty Warriors 8. It will be releasing on the Xbox 360 and PS3 in Europe on July 12th and in North America on July 16th.

We’re still caught up with the conflict of the Three Kingdoms of China as the Wei, Wu, Shu and Jin kingdoms battle for both political and diplomatic supremacy. The main new additions are multiple endings and some interesting “What If?” scenarios that look at what could’ve been instead of what really happened.

This allows stories to branch out from the main story and provide some impetus for replaying the game. Of course, there will be new characters joining the returning cast, which include Yue Kin and Li Dian of the Wei Kingdom making their series premiere, for a total of 70 characters. They will duke it out in over 40 new stages spread across Ancient China.
