E3 2010: LittleBigPlanet 2 Saves the Day

Posted By | On 15th, Jun. 2010

LittleBigPlanet 2 arrived all too late in the day to attempt to salvage Sony’s E3 conference. The game got a demonstration showing how, for all practical purposes, you can create entire minigames using the game’s creation tools.

In a demonstration which showed the creation of tetris like puzzle games, followed by an arena based fighter, Media Molecule demonstrated just how versatile the new creation tools really are.

With Sony calling this the ultimate in the genre, I think there’s more to this title, and that more will be revealed as time goes on. For now, there are another twenty minutes for us to make through before this conference is over.

LittleBigPlanet 2 launches this winter exclusively to the PS3.
