E3 2012: FIFA 13 Has Messi On Its Cover; First Gameplay Trailer Is Out

Posted By | On 04th, Jun. 2012

My editor asked me to post this, so here goes.

FIFA 13 will have Lionel Messi as its cover star, globally. The young player from Argentina, known best for playing for Barcelona, regarded as the best player of the world, is gracing the popular footbal sim’s covers this year.

FIFA 13 will be notable for being the first game that awards and encourages owners of previous entries in the series (in this case, FIFA 12) by having all their experience and stats carry over to this game, in addition to awarding them with some special items that others will have to pay to unlock.

The first gameplay trailer was also released during the conference, have a look at it below:

FIFA hits all systems later this year. Watch this space for more information.
