E3 2012: Nintendo shows off first party and third party games for the 3DS, more announcements to come tomorrow

Posted By | On 05th, Jun. 2012

During their torturous E3 presser, Nintendo mainly focused on the Wii U, but they also gave a few minutes to the 3DS. During those only good minutes of the conference, Nintendo showed the gameplay snippets of three first party titles and four third party titles.

First party titles included New Super Mario Bros. 2, Paper Mario: Sticker Star and Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, with gameplay footage and details given for all three. Quite expectedly, all three looked really good.

The third party titles included Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Scribblenauts Unlimited (announced for the Wii U as well), Castlevania: Lords of Shadow- Mirror of Fate (which is a full fledged 3D action adventure, not a side scroller) and EPic Mickey: Power of Illusion.

Have a look at both the videos above.

Nintendo also announced that to show off a lot more 3DS games, they will be holding a one hour long conference dedicated entirely to the 3DS at 6PM Pacific Time, tomorrow (June 6th).

Stay tuned for more info.
