Electronic Arts has some plans for the upcoming Gamescom conference in August. It’s announced a live show on August 21st that starts at 9:30 AM PT/12:30 PM ET/6:30 CEST that will feature some live matches, new gameplay footage and “a few surprises”.

We know that attendees will have a chance on August 22nd to play games like Battlefield 1: In the Name of the Tsar, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Need for Speed Payback and FIFA 18 at the various stations present on the show floor. As for surprises, it could be anything from new Anthem gameplay footage to the announcement of the next Dragon Age. And hey, it’s still not too far-fetched to expect some Mass Effect: Andromeda story DLC to be announced.

More details from EA’s roster will be offered in the next few weeks but you’ll be able to watch live-streams of the event through the official site. Gamescom 2017 will kick off on August 22nd to 26th in Cologne, Germany and it’s expected that other publishers like Microsoft and Sony will have things to show on the floor.
