EA is ‘struggling,’ says Kotick

Posted By | On 27th, Sep. 2010

After recently stating that companies like EA and the like will struggle to compete against his company, Bobby Kotick, Activision boss, has said that their is no “rivalry” between his company and EA. “EA’s been struggling for a really long time,” he said, while talking to game mag Edge.

“The most difficult challenge it faces today is; great people don’t want to work there. It’s like, if you have no other option, you might consider them.” He also said that while EA have still managed to “capture and keep some good people,” nothing can match the development teams Activision has.

“We have had no shortage of opportunity to recruit out of EA,” he said. “And that’s their biggest challenge; its stock options have no value. It’s lost its way.”

Your turn EA. Do something. Quick.
