If there’s one thing you can count on with the EA Sports UFC franchise, it’s for the publisher to drop a new entry at the most random times. Case in point, EA Sports UFC 6 is reportedly set to be revealed on April 30th with a release date of July 19th for Xbox Series X/S and PS5, per Dealab’s billbil-kun.
But that’s not the whole story. It apparently began with Insider Gaming’s Mike Straw reporting an apparently incorrect reveal month and somewhat accurate release window. He claimed it would launch for consoles and, surprisingly, PC with cross-play support.
On that last part, billbil-kun claims that a PC version is in the works, but whether it will launch alongside the other versions is currently unknown. EA Sports UFC 6’s Standard Edition will allegedly retail for $69.99/€79.99, and there are apparently physical releases. However, details on the Deluxe and Ultimate Edition – alongside their early access periods – remain unknown.
The last entry in the series, EA Sports UFC 5, launched in October 2023 for Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Alongside an overhaul in the damage system and more seamless grappling, Coach Davis would return for the career mode. Check out our review for more details and stay tuned for a potential announcement later this week.
