EA Yields to Fight Night Face Buttons

Posted By | On 18th, Sep. 2009

Against the many protests and ineffective forum petitions from fans, EA’s Fight Night Round 4 was released without the option to control punches via the face buttons.  Instead, the publisher insisted that players use the newly revamped Total Punch Control, which forced users to control all punches with the right analog stick.  However, recent news from EA promises change.

EA has relented in its mission to make TPC the only control scheme and has announced that along with the first round of DLC for Fight Night Round 4 later this summer will be the option to control punches via the face buttons.  Stubborn fans can no longer protest and refuse to buy the game now that their favorite control scheme will soon be added. Pugilists rejoice!
