the stomping landIndie developers SuperCrit have announced that their upcoming dinosaur hunting title, The Stomping Land, will be getting its Early Access later this month. Those who backed the game on Kickstarter when it was in the funding stages will be given Early Access codes for Steam to be used on and after May 23th, till the 30th. When the game does come out in full form, it will cost players $25.

SuperCrit confirms that the following are the dinosaurs that will be included in the initial stages of the game: Styracosaurus, Carnotaurus, Gallimimus, Puertasaurus, Helicoprion, Ankylosaurus, Stygimoloch. “The remaining dinosaurs will roll out as its asset/animation are completed,” they confirmed.

They also tackled the question of what kind of updates we might be seeing in the initial launch.

“Now that the core dinosaur survival template is in place, we’ll move forward with updates based on a mix of accuracy and entertainment value,” the dev confirmed. “What is the next step to improving this dinosaur survival experience? Complex dinosaur AI? More survival needs? A seasaw? The intriguing aspect about survival games is that there is plenty of room for construction, so your discussions and feedback hold lots of value to us.”

Stay tuned for more updates.
