Releasing in 2015.

Among the slew of announcements of software for the PS4 in Sony’s bid to reverse the flagging fortunes of their newest console in Japan was the announcement that a much loved, cult hit series would be returning to Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair, has been announced for the PlayStation 4 for a Spring 2015 release.

The announcement was also accompanied, obviously, by a new trailer, that shows off the kind of mindless shooting fun that has become the trademark of this series, and that you can also expect in this new game. It also shows us that, fun though the game will be, it will also possibly be the worst looking game on the system yet. Not that I actually care, since, as mentioned above, it does look fun.

With TGS coming up soon, there should be more and more announcements of Japanese games for the three current consoles. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for the latest.
