God of War fans will want to pay attention to this one. At the Future Games Show Summer Showcase, developer Myrkur Games and publisher Deep Silver took the stage to unveil Echoes of the End, an upcoming narrative-driven action-adventure title with a strong Nordic bent.

Echoes of the End will see players engaging in aggressive melee combat that will blend melee mechanics with high flying magical abilities. As mentioned at the top of this story, there’s clearly a strong God of War influence here, from the environments and the visual design to the combat and more. How successfully Echoes of the End will be able to replicate that style of gameplay, but it definitely seems to have some solid elements in place. Check out the trailer below.

Echoes of the End is due out sometime this summer for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. A specific release date hasn’t yet been announced, though presumably that’ll change soon. Stay tuned for more details on the title in the coming weeks and months.
